Alexandra Kessler works as researcher and project coordinator at the Collaborating Center on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) in Wuppertal. In the junior research group UrbanUp, Alexandra analyses from a sociological perspective which sharing practices in the urban context have positive social effects and how these effects can be sustained and scaled. Particular attention is paid to the networks between citizens, initiatives, companies, politics and administration, as well as the various forms of sharing and participation.

Alexandra Kessler builds on her work on sustainable lifestyles, sustainable urban development and sustainable value chains at the CSCP and brings in her personal experience from civil society participation processes in the urban context. She holds a master's degree in International Relations and Development Policy.
